On campus or Off campus

Is it better to live off res....like a single bedroom apartment near a university or acutally on campus? I am going to mcmaster engieering by the way.

Well for the first year you'll probably want to live on campus, just because it'll help you to meet people. However, after 1st year you'll want to live off campus just cuz its a lot cheaper, but only if you get roommates. Single bedroom apartments are like 700-900 bucks a month, but if you get a 2 bedroom apartment for like 1000 bucks a month, and split the cost with your roommate, it'll be much cheaper (and so on with more people). That being said, living on campus for the first year will allow you find roommates to live with off campus.
