Well, my I.E. kept crashing, so I went for an alternative. I had heard of opera, and decided to give it a try. It seems quite good so far, except for one thing. It doesn't load every page. It loads this page, facebook, some other forums, and other such things, but not google, or addictinggames.com. It just does nothing! Is this a problem for lots of people? (I have the newest version of opera). I like it, especially the 'speed dial' page. I also like how it remembers what page you were on last, so if you close the window, then re-open it, it goes to that page. If only it could load bookmarks from wherever they are stored for I.E.
What the heck, lets do a poll. |

I voted for Firefox still. I did try Opera once, but I missed some of the add-ons that were in Firefox.
But, yeah, the speed-dial page was pretty good.
Some of the widgets weren't bad either. |

way to limit the choices to just IE/Opera/Firefox
I primarily use Safari (on OS X), as it's much faster. I hear that Camino is more lightweight, but I guess it's a trade-off between speed and power. |

oops, meant to put an 'other' option in there...
Seeing as I am unable to edit that post, could a mod put that option into the poll?
See, I find that IE and firefox are the big ones and opera is the one this thread is all about. Once again, I intended to include 'other'. |

I'm liking Firefox 3 RC1, doing pretty good and the memory is amazing, no more leaks
I also liked Safari for Windows, however it doesn't come with the much needed extensions so... I don't use it :/
(And for firefox rc1 most of my extensions are compatible) |

IE works best for work, Firefox for just about everything else.
Safari on Windows blows. It seemed ok on OSX, but I hated it on Windows. |

Has anyone ever had problems with opera? (Just so if something comes up, it's not just my computer) |

I do not use it because it is not naitively supported by Ubuntu.
I know, thats not a very good reason. Thats like saying "Why should i use FireFox when Windows comes with I.E"... i guess you can chalk it up to laziness on my part then |

Why oO?
It was terrible when it first came out, since the fonts and everything was screwed up (especially the crashing..) however the latest version seems fairly good and its pretty damn fast, not to mention the look, the almost borderless look I don't like its bookmarking system though, and its rss feed reader either :/ I like the way firefox does it |

I use Firefox but it is starting to feel a little bloated. I've heard Opera is good but I haven't made the switch yet. I like my extensions. |
