I got bumpmapping working Very Happy

There are a few extensions ur gfx card needs to run this but they are fairly common. If it crashes lack of the extension is most likely the cause

up/down zooms

that was pretty cool... i guess project: "evasive maneuvers ripoff" is still alive ( Wink ). just curious, was there any particular reason why you had the bump map in shades of blue/pink/whatever? whenever i've used bump maps in 3d modelling it's usually with a greyscale map.

this is from some experiments im doing with my 3d engine
the greyscale bump maps are height maps that are applied to the surface
im using normal maps which allow much more control over how the shape of bumps look. Each color represents that point's normal red being x, green being y and blue being z.
