I noticed that nearly every post in the new student life forum mentions Waterloo, so clearly Waterloo students have a strong presence here. It occurred to me that I could know some of you from a club or class without knowing it. Or if not, I probably see most of you around from time to time. I know there is or was a list of people attending Waterloo on the wiki, but I think it is incomplete. So I was hoping people attending Waterloo could list their year and program below and what residence they are in. For example:
I am a first year CS student living off-campus. |

2A Mathematical Physics living off campus.
I saw the article you wrote in MathNews about how to fix the holes in your high school math knowledge. Nice stuff. Are you going to be continually writing for MathNews? |

Glad to know someone is reading my article. I hear MathNews is quite popular among upper-years, but not a lot of first years seem to be reading it. I plan to keep writing for it through the year... I don't have anything in this week's issue because I had a midterm during the production night, but maybe by the next issue I will come up with something.

Thats actually how I originally worded it, but I changed my mind . I guess changing majors is a pain, but do you find the mechatronics (iirc?) background helps you much? |

When it comes to programming or even computers - not at all.
It does help with pulling all-nighters and doing crazy workloads though. |

Is anyone taking CS134 with me? (yes, I have to get that done... it's a cruel cruel world of oversimplified Java) |
