I don't really have a name for this, I figured spiro graph was the best fitting one, but yea, the math was a little tricky to figure out at first, but I've got it now. You can make some neat stuff with it, try entering 0 and also 100, the big ones are fun to watch being made lol, yea I get bored easily...

Very nice, i used to have fun drawing these in school.
Only when i drew them myself, after drawing what your program does i would draw basically the same thing only rotated to the right 45 degrees over top. It makes a really cool effect.

hmm, i don't really have a formula, but i'll give an outline.
its made in the 4 quadrents (sp?), the top right corner is the first one, which draws the vertical line, and then the next lines up to before the horizontal line to the right, then the next quadrent does the same thing but starting with the right horizontal line, etc...
the basic outline of it is that for the top right corner,
a line is drawn, then another one is drawn with 20 more pixels on x, and 20 less on y, and repeating that, and then for the bottom right quadrent, x decreases 20 while y still decreases 20, and keeps working its way around, as for the way of making the user chose the size, that was tricky to figure out, and that's my little secret, but if you really think about it you could probably figure it out
