Idea for program

Anyways,

I thought of an idea while taking notes in my law class today. Basically every student in the school is issued a USB junkdrive (these things are so cheap nowadays) at the beginning of the year. Every computer in the school has a program (Coded by me of course!) which reacts to putting a USB in, and updates the USB with all the notes, assignments, etc. that the teacher uploads. Also it reminds you of tests, due dates, etc. and you can submit homework or ask the teacher questions. I also realized it would save tons of money in paper and ink.

Any suggestions, comments, or concerns are welcome. By the way I have started coding it in C# (Only because that's the language I know best next to Turing). Please don't steal my idea I am going to submit it as an ISU and then propose it to my school board.

Well basically there are two main advantages I can think of. One, only one of my teachers uses an online site (i.e. moodle) and this would be a board-wide program that is on every computer so teachers would be more inclined to use it. The second reason is that it's on a USB that auto updates so you can bring it anywhere regardless of access to internet. Also USB's would be school issued so everyone is guaranteed to have one.

[edit] Oh and by the way if you can think of a catchy name for this program I would be grateful. Creativity is not my strong suit .

It does sound like a nifty idea. It would certainly keep people up to date. On the other end, you could make a submit like application that would allow people to put completed assignments onto the key for easy transport (so that they could be automatically submitted when they were plugged into an online computer).

One thing to think about though: What about broken/lost keys?

Also, don't sweat not being a great programmer yet. One of the best ways to get good at something is to have a goal.

Ya I thought of that so I'm gonna make it submit assignments and questions to the teacher. Also I will make it have a drive on the network (my school uses G:/) that will be updated when you put the key in. This will fix the problem with broken/lost keys.

MindKey is a good name. Best one yet.

becuase i bet, there will be students.... somewhere... feel like messing with things which they are not suppose to
and probably easier now, to get their hands on other peoples work through this
