well, this is kind of offtopic, but how do you guys manage to keep your desktop SOO CLEAN
mines a mess
and i use windows default desktop ._. how sad.... but its good for my eyes

I wouldn't consider momop's desktop clean, least of all because he's running ME. I just have a organized system for all of my files. I never lose anything that way.

It helps to get rid of all of your application shortcuts and use something like Launchy instead. Aside from that it's pretty easy to keep things where they belong unless you need shortcuts to commonly accessed directories in which case adding a toolbar is really helpful.
I refrain from posting a desktop screenshot since mine hasn't changed significantly since September.

Been a while sicne I posted a desktop, so...
Just finished cleaning it up, back to a nice and bare desktop.
