I find that with fast internet, I get very distracted by watching YouTube videos, downloading/playing online games etc. So, this might sound a little ridiculous, but I'm looking for some method/program for decreasing my internet speed. |

Some routers have somthing called QoS witch allows you to limit the speed of certient packets going threw your network. For example you could make video and game packets very low prioty can caped at a cert rate but leave http packets normal so you can still surf find.
Worth at least checking if your router has the option (if you use a router). |

Seems like bad approach to the problem, as this will also affect whatever productive you plan on be doing.
I've heard of a Firefox plugin (name of which I unfortunately forgot) that will block or limit time you spend on the domains of your choice. So instead of crippling YouTube and actually spending twice as long there, waiting for videos to buffer, you could actually set it up to browse full speed for 15 minutes every couple of hours, but no more. |
