Here is me trying to view an article on the Wired website:

Same thing happens on other sites like Fileshack and things like that. It's annoying yes, but it pays the bills for them I guess.

If you are on a router, it might be worth figuring out what domain the ad is served from and blocking that across the network. I did this for a while (for obtrusive ads only) and it made web-browsing a much better experience. Unfortunately it stopped the iTunes store from working so I turned it off for a while.

Must be one hell of a bill. Guess how long the users will stay on the site if such obtrusive ad is server on _every_ page.

@klopyrev - consider using another browser, such as Firefox, with an adblock extension.

Wow, ads over lapping ads. Wired most be realy have come apoen hard times if they need to go that low.

My bet however is that it is coming from the ad bar at the top of the page and that wired is unaware that at&t is raping there site or at least i hope they are.
