i know that most people here (at least, those who post their submissions in the c++ section) use openGL for graphics but i was just curious: has anybody used/thought of using/ever heard of allegro? apparently it's some library of graphics/input-output/sound for programming games or something.

yeah... if you want to use 2D graphics, use DirectDraw in DirectX 7 (8 doesnt have it, donno about 9) |
