Because many people either are too lazy, are unable to search on their own, or are oblivious to the fact that such software exists, I'm going to link to my favorite archive manager 7zip, and the standard WinRAR.
WinRAR: non-standard archive manager for Windows. Compresses files into .rar files by default, but can compress into others. I don't particularily like it, but it works. It also has some fancy features that I don't really care for and provides a GUI.
7zip: My personal favorite. 7zip is able to unpack just about any archive format thinkable and can compress files in just about any format as well. No GUI. The fact that it is so versatile is what makes it my favorite, for anyone wondering.
If you don't like either of these JFGI |
