Try out this Mario Game I made in Turing. You can customize levels with the level creator.
In Level creator : load level by pressing 'enter' and save by pressing 'esc'
In game : use arrow keys to move around.

If it is too slow or fast : open delay.txt and change the number to fit your machine.

Very good, its the best mario type game I have seen in a long time (if not ever). I like all the crazy features (like the flip map thing) which you actually have to uses - nice. It is a bit hard though, or maybe that's just my mario skills being a bit rusty Smile. The level editor is really well made too (maybe slow down the scrolling rate to make it more accurate).

Some issues:
-you can use the mouse to cheat.
-maybe add more lives
-add a running feature
-add secret levels/compartments
-in original mario when you threw a shell at another monster that monster would be killed
-add fireballs/extra lives
-when you minimize the window you lose :s
-in custom levels you cant win
-you can only have one level in total, and when you add a new one the old dissappears (right?)

It seems like a lot, but its perfectly playable and these bugs are pretty minor... Hope to see some updates (more sprites, levels, monsters, etc.)!

Thanks for the suggestions. It's my friend's game. I told him to add in the fire balls and the enemies dying on contact with the moving shells. He'll fix it up. The mouse cheat was used to test out the game, so the future version won't have that Wink

Oh, we're checking if you guys like the game. It's our Comp. Sci. project and we're seeing if it's A+ material. I'm going to work on the flash (i suck at turing programming).

Put it all into a folder and then zip it! Or I guess Rar it Razz

I opened it on my desktop and icons, oh god they were everywhere!

Asides from that it was an amazing game. Wanna sneak us the source?Wink

That would be good Smile.

If you dont want all the files right on your desktop then just select "extract to *zipnamefolder*" not "extract here" - that's with WinRar I think...

Look forward to the next version!

Also, some more suggestions:

1.There is a delay when you turn into the small mario.
2.Add the flag at the end of the level.
3.Time limit like in the original.
4.When Mario is ontop of a sprite (like the castle) there is a black box behind him - this may be unavoidable though (not sure).
5.If you're trying to make it as close to the original as possible, I'm pretty sure he jumped a bit lower than what oyu have it as.
6.Add firepower, extra lives, and the invincibility blinking powerup Smile.

These as just small things, I still think this is one of the best made things in Turing I have seen... Hope you get a good mark! Smile

This is our crappy ass game. Our teacher told us to use this. He gave the idea and we had to make, look at the graphics and look at the whole game play, its very shitty. If you wonna try it out, run the Wormball.t not Wormball.tu but you need both. For Player1/Green Worm the controls are Z=Left and X=Right. For Player2/Orange Worm the controls are Left arrow=left and Right arrow=right.
