YouTube Blocked Video Viewer

I just finished making this YouTube Blocked Video Viewer.
It allows you to view any movie on the YouTube website even the blocked ones.

This works on videos that you have to be older then 18 to see. However on ones that have relay been blocked or removed it will bring up the video and when you click play it will say:

"This video is no longer available".


In the case of ones that you have to be 18 or older to see you just need to make an account and login to view it. Witch is faster then typing the video id in to a website :p

Acuatly the video file is not removed from there server, just your ability to view it. This is why you can still see it in the search index and get a thumbnail of it. In theory it could be possible to get the video.

Then the video is not relay blocked and all you are doing is using you tube like it was made to be used. The title of your post is very misleading, since this dose not show blocked videos but just is a normal use of there api to show videos on your site.

If people don't like signing up for stuff me included than go to www.bugmenot.com This will give you user name and password.

One good use for this script that i thought of would be to put it in a FF plug in. So when you visit youtube.com and go to a page that has the 18+ thing, a small buttion will come up on the address bar and you could click it to bypass it.

Other wise downloading a php script, installing it, php, a web server, runing it and then finding the video id is alot more work then singing up for a youtube account.

Maybe a script that listed all the 18+ videos in one place whould be usefull?
