For the final project in comp sci I've created a company (not a real one of course). However I want it to seem as realistic as possible but I'm having a hard time coming up with a logo for the company. So any ideas anyone can give me or samples from other companies I can get ideas from would be greatly appreciated. Naturally the company is a computer programming company so naturally that should be the theme. Thanks in advance! |

The best advice I can give you is to keep it simple. All of the big companies have real simple logos. |

Yeah but it's hard to come up with something original with all the different logos out there. |

You'd have a better chance of getting help if you told us what your company's name is. Otherwise I'd suggest something silly like a blue 2 with a circle around it. |

The company name is JET Innovations and no it's not about jets and it's a complicated story of how the name came up. |

I think microwsoft might have issues with you using the word JET if it is a programing company. JET is the DBMS in MS Access.
Tho it is fake so it dose not relay matter i guse. |

Well if you read my first post you'll know.
Thanks for telling me about that Dan but I don't think there will be any issues since the company isn't real. Also the description of the company that I made says that the company is involved in just about everything and trying to make an existing product better along with developing their own products so it's not a programming only company according to the description I made. So I'm pretty sure there won't be any issues and besides Microsoft probably won't even hear of this anyways. |

now heres a rough idea what i was getting at ... took me about 3 minutes. (using the 3M logo) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v497/Compwiz333/jet.jpg
and dont think you can use this, it was to give you an idea ... it was done in paint and is quite choppy, you'll want to make something a little more smooth looking in a better program. |
