Checking the latest updates at milw0rm today, I came across this paper from symantec discussing the security measures implemented in the blackberry environment.

This is an interesting paper on various concepts to bypass or take advantage of almost every single security measure integrated into the platform of (mostly) modern devices. One of the main things that got my attention is the ability to 'hijack' the device to allow un-firewalled access to an internal corporate LAN. Second was the ability to proxy connections through infected devices.

EDIT: I know most of you are not into the hacking thing and are still beginning the whole coding quest, but many of the more advanced members might get a kick out of this paper.
