Welcome.
The first thing I will tell you as you enter these forums is not to be an utter newbie and not read [The Rules]. Also, take careful note of all stickies. For instance, the Offical 'Hello World' thread should have caught your attention as the place to post introductions.
If we had a new thread for every new member...well, things would get lost far more easily around here.
So, in summary, read [The Rules] and you shall soon be a happy and well-adapted member of CompSci.ca. |

Welcome, sameed. Glad to see some enthusiasm!
What language are you learning? I suspect it's Turing. If so, that's too bad. However, Turing isn't all that bad; as you're learning the language, it's a good idea to look for ways that things could be done better. Things in the language that could be more elegant, features that could make tasks easier... Think about these things and discuss them, because doing so will make you far more open-minded and far more aware of what other programming languages might be like. |

That's ok. We won't hold it against you personally, assuming you make efforts to correct it. |

I'm going to paraphrase what wtd said in one of these quotes: its better to think of something as "I wish turing could", and create your own rubroutine from there |
