... why I don't dive head-first into some particular API and build some incredible app the entire world needs.

Why would I content myself with explaining basic concepts? It's so small and useless, they say.

To that there is only one thing I can think to say. If it is so small and useless explaining the basic concepts....

Why are there so incredibly many people out there who are unfamiliar with those concepts? Do they not constitute a huge market, and does not quality education count as an incredible creation?
