I helping out with the website for the chopper project for our school and I got some movies from the teacher of some of the kids making the chopper and I need to make a longer movie out of the 8 the teacher gave me. The only problem is that the movies are in a *.mpeg format but my movie maker program doesn't like that type of file. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good but free file converters that will convert *.mpeg files to *.wmv. Any help would be great, +20 bits to the person who helps me find the best file converter. Thanks.

I find that VDM is a little hard to use. I had to get one of my friends to help and luckily he used it once before.

Open the video file. Set where you want it to cut, copy, etc.. Choose filters and compression to apply for audio/video. Save compressed file.

Bueno?
