The Ubuntu 6.10 - Edgy Eft has been released as Beta

I'm excited even just for the updates to gedit. Still, I'm waiting for the official release, and hoping my laptop will be more agreeable with it than with Dapper.

Updates to gedit? got a link so I can check it out, or a summary of changes?
