Well I'm in my first programming class in grade 11 and well we're supposed to make a program that will simulate something. The problem is I want to start right away so I don't get behind on it near the end of the simester but I don't have any ideas for what I could do. |

Well the final program I made for my copsci class was a business calculator with graphing capabilities. It was nothing impressive but it did land me with a final mark of 92 in the class |

That's not a bad idea I think my teacher may give me an exception and if he doesn't I can always say that it's a program that simulates a business calculator. lol |

I would laugh so hard if your teacher accepted that as if it were to simulate a business calculator. Anyways I remember making a sort of rpg game where you would have an ant colony and you would have reasources and you would have to beat the computer's ant colony. I belive that this game will more suite your criteria if the business calculator can't be done. |

Well thanks for the ideas. I'll give you my bits because I'm not very fond of having them because in another forum I was in people always asked me to give them whatever bits or kudos or whatever I had. Thanks again! |

I'd like to see that ant game sometime; sounds pretty good.
For my final project (gr11 here) I'm taking the idea of Battle.Test that I made in turing and turning it into a RPG. However, I have a teacher that doesnt even let you think of making a FP until you copy out a thick stack of notes and understand everything. I keep getting yelled at for C/Ping trees... |

I'd love to show you right now but I can't because every year our school will reimage all the computers and everyone on the system loses all their files and unfortunately I didn't save the game from gr10. I can make the same game again to show you and I wouldn't mind playing the game again anyways. So I'll message you when I get the game done. |

I'll be more than happy to show you too but as I said it got deleted during the reimaging of the school system during the summer so you'll have to wait. I also have to say it's nothing very graphical like have hundreds of ants on your screen but it's still a pretty fun game. |

Yes well I am going to rebuild it just for you guys and because I could use some of the code for another game I'm thinking of. I remember the original game I made wasn't very efficient and it took hundreds of lines of code but I'll make this one more efficient. |
