Ok, so I've spent a little time working with the 3d > 2d formula, and I've come up with a little 3d area with a house and a random terrain. Its in the first person view of a knight's helmet (I was thinking of making a defend your castle type game). Anyways, tell me what you think of this, and maby let me have some ideas for a future game.

Really nicely done. I was trying to do something like this earlier and failed (Also gave up, because it was taking too long and I wanted to play video games at the time )
+Bits for a nice job

Dragon Quest eh?
Melikes. I would like to see an FPS counter in there just so I can get a feel for what this thing is capable of. I'm not at all fond of the way the mouse handles movement, but these would still be preliminary stages I guess.
+ bits for a good job (and that swarmy helmet).

Thank you all for your input.
I'm currently working on fixing some of the problems that some of you and I have found. So far I've made a few improvements such as removing the mask, using better ground & "castle" & boundries rendering, and incorperating better sound effects (downloaded wav/midi/mp3). Now what I would like to do for the few days is maby put in some enemies with fair ai, maby a few more objects in the environment. I also need a quick sort to render objects, if anyone knows which is fastest/most accurate. Currently it just draws in order declared at start (don't realy notice the overlapping though, eh?). And finally, I guess I'll make a simple fps counter with polygon count aswell. Hopefully I will have an update for download by next week

I look forward to the update, but i would like to know where you got this 3d->2d formula from. This is very interesting work you have done here.

nicely done! kinda reminds me of The Elder Scrolls: Arena for any who's played it. The whole pink helmet is a bit weird, but other than that its awesome. I didn't know turing had the power to do 3D images.
