Hey

Could anyone recommend a CVS that they know about. I'm trying to get a project on the way but need a versioning system. So if you have used one, and would be able to recommend it, it would be much appreciated, free or non-free.

I'd recommend Subversion. It's an CVS replacement. Check out there site: http://subversion.tigris.org/

I also recomend subversion. It's a little bit different from CVS, but those differences make it much more useful.

If you want to use an online subversion repository I think sourceforge might offer them, and I know that googles new hosting platform uses subversion.
