As Token here said, Welcome to Compsci.ca!
As for posting your questions/ideas/programs/random stuff/ect., just look for the forum that you think would best suit it. Worse comes to worse, your topic will be moved. Don't worry about this topic, its in 'off topic', you should be fine.
As for the skills of the people here in compsci.ca/ it varies greatly. Some poeple here (like myself) Are new at programming, others have conciderable skill, while others are concidered gods (wtd, Cervantes). We are all here to help each other learn about this thing we like to call 'programming', some more than others (just take a look at the functional programming forum, and look who makes all the topics, and you'll see why).
Anyways, Good luck, Have fun, and Kick *ss. |

webmaster and dive instructor? Pretty cool. Welcome.
Forum topics range in their scope. If you are interested in a particular programming language, post under the appropriate heading, or [General Programming] for non-language specific. PC questions, as well as education are generally covered in [General Discussion], while everything else (such as music) will fall here, in [Off Topic].
I know it could be a little bit intimidating to jump into a relativly large forum, but don't worry, you'll get a hang of it Enjoy your stay. |
Tony's programming blog. DWITE - a programming contest. |

Somehow I have a mighty strong feeling this is a bot and we won't be seeing any more of him. I find it pretty sad what kind of posts we've been getting here recently...
In case you doubt me, just take a quick look at his homepage. |
