quick question - shared internet connection + Azureus

Didn't where to put this topic so i put it here.

I have 2 computers, adsl cable internet. I don't have a router so I'm sharing the connection, (both comps runnin XP pro) I set it up just fine, and i can play games over LAN, but my bittorrent client for some reason keeps shutting itself down.

first i thought it was the client so i switched to azureus, and it does it too. i know it has somthing to do with the shared connection though.

any ideas?

I say get a router and a proper network setup, windows XP connection sharing isn't nearly as useful as you'd think. Plus routers are cheap these days, well worth the investment. If I had more information then "it keeps shutting itself down" I might be able to offer more useful help.

Oh, and you don't have "adsl cable internet". ADSL is a way of transmitting data over phone lines, cable internet is done using the DOCSIS specification.
