Hello CompSci members, another game by upthescale also known as "Robbie:...Tihs one is a little more and probably way better than my old ones. With one loop, 5 procedures, 5 levels, you have your self a game called "Rob the Bank!"
Critics give this game a 4 out of 5 star rating!
"I couldn't stop playing it!"
New York Times-Fred Gal
Any way, these two zip files are the same game, just one different graphics, and different levels.
The first RAR Fileis graphics all done in turing
Left and Right arrow keys to move, Ctrl to shoot, and r to realod.
In the second RAR File, the gun and hands are imported from G=Flash Mx 2004. Mouse to move and shoot, and r to reload.
So enjoy!

Without variety, life just isn't worth living. This statement holds true to the world of programming. From time to time, you need to vary the games you create. Try learning new coding techniques and formulating new ideas so that your games aren't all clones of eachother. Best wishes.

To elaborate on Mr. T's post...
upthescale, I can see you're trying to learn and you seem to have a lot of game ideas, and that's great! But you gotta realize, just because a program has 5 procedures or you used a new command for the first time, doesn't make it a real accomplishment.
Now, since you like making games (as do I), why not try something which would be tough... which would take more than a couple of hours of programming. It doesn't even have to be an original idea, just remake a (tough) game you've always liked. You'll find that while creating it, you'll learn in a whole different way... You'll think of new/creative solutions to your problems.
Now about your games...
-Besided the fact that they're very simple, not a bad effort. You should add a scoring method so that people can play to again and try to beat it. Also, maybe move the shoot and reload keys closer, it's kind of awkward to use ctrl and r.
-Your second one isn't that great. There's a lot of screen flickering. Also, holding the mouse button means reloading every second. Why not make it so that you have to keep clicking to shoot.
