I haven't done anything lately but I still check DA and ..sorta use it (add new +favs), though I'm starting to like photography, not sure if that counts as an artist but still during the summer I hope to do something -- along those...lines.

My art is pathetic. If I use DA, they'd loose reputation overnight. They should be grateful that I'm not using DA.

Are we talking about art in the traditional sense, or using Photoshop?
On the few occassions I've gotten linked to DA (we are talking about deviantart, right?) the comments for the art were pretty bad. Not overly critical and rude, I mean annoying "xD" and all that. Is the rest of the site like that?

Not really, if you look at the photography that gets on the top favorite, people actually give some...err I guess helpful? comments? or at least specify what they liked about your work, or they would just say "wow that is simply amazing, love the colours" Very Happy
