I'm trying to make a menu on Netbeans and I wanted to have an exit selection so that you could click that and have it exit. But everything normal i've tried hasn't worked so I was wondering if someone could help me.

Are you talking about netbeans as a Rich Client Platform or are you talking about Matisse?

I'm talking about Matisse. Sorry it took me so long to post a reply.

I now have some more problems. I'll just list them all.

1. How do I get the menu items to do things?
2. How do I get the buttons to do things?
3. How do I use events?

I hope you guys understand what I need help with.

Sorry for double post but I actually just figured out what the problem was.

But I got a new problem now.

How can I make JPanels hide and make others become visible anytime I want them to?
