i'm trying to import the package hsa.Console but it says that the package does not exist. i tried installing and uninstalling java to see if i can get the package but it won't work. is there any link where i can download just that package or how can i make my own?

The hsa.Console was developed by Holtsoft, so Ready to Program should have this console. RTP is not for free, nor is the package I believe. If you want to try to create the package, you can find the details of this package here.

i'm not too sure wat you mean, because i just started java and i downloaded it for free from the sun java website so i'm guessing its free and as you can see it clearly is not working for me and says this package does not exist. i did not mispell it if thats wat your wondering.

The hsa package is not bundled with the default java vm... You need to get that packaged from holtsoft.

2 question.
1) is it free?
2) i am trying to run a program made by someone else on compsci, but i need that package or else it keeps giving me an error message. is there any way to run the program?

1) No, you have to buy it from HoltSoft.
2) No, you will have to convert the HSA Console library calls to standard Java on your own.
