anyone know a good mips assembler? apparantly SPIM is an excellent emulator, but you still need your own assembler. none of the assemblers i found online supports arithmetic shifts.

any help would be greatly appreciated

You could always try and rip the ones of the UW servers... but writing your own shouldn't be too hard; what with it being only one part of a single assignment in a second year CS course. Wink

I don't know of any though... unless there is one included in gcc.
