I guse it realy depends on how big a metal gear fan you are. I deftaly think the bigest thing in E3 this year is the Wii, esptaly the red steal game for it. Also spore, how can you not like spore . And blizard ancouned the new alince race witch just looks like bule night elfs with a skin problem.
Speaking of the next gen cosoles, it looks like the Wii might aucatly have a chance with the PS3 costing $540 CND for the basick model and $640 CND for the full one. Also the Wii's controler system looks like it could also be admazing. I am realy whonting to here more about there online play and online game download system tho. If red steal goses has online play on the Wii it could be a new best hit for the nintendo. Tho what the heck is with the name "Wii"? The revlotion was such a better name and could be better amined at every one. But there acoument that it whould be cheaper then the xbox and ps3 for shure made me happy.
From the xbox side of things it looks like there big news is that they are buying up the rights to games just so other consoles will never get them. Like GTA 4, PSO 4 and HALO 3 (tho they allready bougth that company). Hostly i do not think it is a good busines stargy just to buy up games rather then work on making a well made and sainly priced system.
The PS3 is looking good but i do not feal like geting a bank loan to buy one. They also seem to be adding in some montion suport to there controlers but from what i have seen it is no where close to that of nintendos Wii. Also i whould like to here more about the issues with the cell cpu that where talked about last E3.
And of corse G4 is there making a complet ass of there selves and proving that TechTV is long dead and gone as they air pices on the E3 both bades and are cosntaly insuating each other rather then asking the impornt questions and having sain or even noraml converstation. I swear if they lose admim and morgin there will be no ingenelnt life left on that network. I realy miss the days of the screen savers where they had integnely debates and coverstations about the curent thecogly news and issues. sigh, i hate socity and there MTV style of crap. |

well the Wii is about $250 and the controller is a motion sensor type thinggy that the system can pick up so it acts like you can point at the screen and it will be know where you are pointing at with all the different types of movements.... This description sucks ass... |

Originally people were talking about $99 (or maybe it was $199?) for the Revolution (as it was called in those days). Then recently, IIRC they said it would be a little more expensive, and $250 became a rumour. So far no price has been set.
Whatever it ends up at, I imagine it'll be a big contrast to the price of the PS3. |

Cost wise i realy whont to know how much the add ons to the controler are going to cost or if they are going to be incuded. So far we know of two add ons, the numb chock one that has the the movement thing like the clasic game cube controler and the controler add on for playing old games that looks like a supper nintendo conotroler crosed with a game cube one.
Also i whont to know more about the downloading of games, i realy hope it will be a monthly fee and not a by game one. I whould stand in a line on the 1st day it is out if it is only a monthly fee. |

I was at e3 (everything hurts) and all the lines for the wii games were like 4 hours each while every other consol had like 30 min lines tops, sonys ps3 controller looks identicle to the ps2 controller with a little ps3 icon in the dead center (like the 360s controller) so I'm assuming they scraped the batarang controller and they put motion sensors in the ps3 controller too (how original!) but it worked like crap compared to the Wii and sonys presentation sucked, it was like they didnt realy care about being there. In the end everyone left wanting a wii and sony and microsoft were crushed. |

LOADS OF ANSWERS & TRIVIA FOLLOW:
You know E3 was a hit for Nintendo when their shares climbed 6.2% without actually releasting a product.
Re: PS3 pricing. Note that you need to pay the same amount to get the same functionality out of a 360. Sony & MS's systems are the same price if you want all the perks; the 360 just has less included with it by default.
Wii IS a crappy name, (and very easy to make fun of) but apparently, Japanese people can't pronounce "Revolution" very well, so Nintendo is rebranding to appeal to their domestic market.
The PS3 controler just detects tilt and acceleration. The Wii controller more or less maps out the unit location in 3-space (and is therefore quite a bit superior). Nintendo claims that the existing GC controller may work with the Wii as well.
The $250 price tag has been set by market analysts. The system is supposed to cost between $200 and $300, so many people are just stating the average of those two values.
Re: downloads. Nintendo has hinted that they may release many NES, SNES, N64 and even gameboy games for free download. (Probably those games to which they hold sole license). I'd love to see some remastered classics on teh bigscreen like they've done for the GBA.
EDIT:*****
According to Merryl Lynch (big economics co) and SEGA, the Wii is expected to retail at $200. I wasn't even considering the purchase of a next-gen console until this announcement was made. If the Wii is as good as it looks, and if it has a good assortment of titles, I'll consider getting it.
