ok, your collision detection is pretty off, if you go past the pixels you are asking it to check the image goes right through the blocks, also, look into Time.DelaySinceLast, i dont know about on your computer but, the blocks for me come extremely fast, i think you should slow them down or something, also, your sound doesnt work at the end (the one you included in the file) whats your high score anyways? |

When you're saving your pictures as jpgs, remember that you will lose some colour info - hence you'll get blocking the way you did.
I really don't like the way new blocks with greater speed appear while old blocks are still on the screen. It would be easier just to increase the global speed of blocks, than to introduce new ones with different speeds.
Also, your helicopter object is no where near sensitive enough to evade most blocks. There's nothing wrong with giving the helicopter a good amount of speed in the beginning - it will make the game easier then, and allow players to progress to stages where the speed has increased quite a bit.
And again, your collision detection is lacking. See what you can fix, and post an updated version of the file. |

its exactly the same, check to see if the pixel is a color, if it is then change directions that simple. |

upthescale, how about for a change instead of blaming your lack of functionality on other people, you take some responsibility for your code and learn something on your own. We're willing to help you as always, but not if you're going to throw your arms up in defeat the moment something arrives at your doorstep that you can't deal with.
And at the rate this topic is going, it is going to get locked for being too spammy. |
