the game is somewhat impressive, gamplay is admirable, the game engine is hands-down first rate... |

Nothing can dethrone Deus Ex from that title. |

Fixed.
Deus Ex really was teh win though. Except for the Dragon Tooth Sword taking up 3 or 4 inventory slots. Somebody dropped the ball there. |

Nice. The flexibility is something I really expect to see in future video games, less of an "in the box" style. Has some really good ideas too. |

Wow. I just watched the whole thing and... that's great. The idea that you can go from micromanaging a single creature in a large world to managing an empire in a whole galaxy is just unbelievable. |

Looks interesting but it doesn't have enough killing in it.
It may very well be the best game in its field but I doubt its the best game ever... I would much rather play Halo than it. |

It's the paradigm shift in design convention that makes it interesting.
Halo, good, sure.
...but how about Halo where you have a great range of cusomization for your character & his gear? Where you can create your own planet for your clan / guild, and set up a custom base which can be invaded by opposing teams, etc.?
The game looks worth a play - nothing overly fantastic, IMHO, but the genre-busting open-endedness is a great innovation. |

What makes me excited about this game is what can come affter it. If this same idea was applied to other games like FPS or Online RPGs we will start seeing masive online worlds that are chaging every minute in acordence to what the users do.
Just think of WoW where the sotry line and world aucatly eval and could get out to the galxy verson. |
