I don't whont to hear any of this stuff about it being to far away or too cold (most poelop in tbay there), or you don't like any one. If you do not like any one in this election do you think not voting is going to help? It will just make things worse. There have been hole rights movents over gorups geting the right to vote so don't sipt in the faces of thos peoleop in the past and use the rights you have today to promot chage!

If you realy do not know who to vote for here are the links to some of the magor partys (in no logical order):

http://www.liberal.ca
http://www.ndp.ca
http://www.conservative.ca

http://www.marijuanaparty.com
http://www.mlpc.ca
http://www.pcparty.org
http://www.westernblockparty.com

You have till 9:30pm tonight to vote, now stop reading and start voting!

Edit: Please feal free to provied links to 3rd pratys and peoleop runing on there own. The above are just the offialy regirested partys as of today (i blive). Partys that where deregestired are not listed above.

Edit 2: Please do not put any poltical debate in this topic, this topic is soley about the vote and the atack of voting. Any debating will be deleted.

It's funny...well not funny but how people in the past sacrificed their lives just to vote...and now we have the chance and people just ignore it. JUST GO VOTE!

UPDATE: The orgianl posted closing time (witch was the time writen on the election cards) is incorect and is aucatly 9:30pm.

Also to thous who say they can not vote b/c they are not in there riding, they can even if your card says other wise if you have prof you live there at least temarply. Such prof could be diriveces licneces or even a tellphone/cable/internet/cell phone bill that has your temapry residec listed on it in combaition with photo id. Also new health cares and native status cards count as id cards!

In about eight hours we will find out if we have a Conservative majority or (hopefully) minority.

The polls opened at 8:00 PM? Why so late? Shouldn't they keep it open from 8:00 AM? More people can this way vote....? iunno....

Either way, been watching the elections ever since it started- pretty interesting campaigning, lots of personal attacks.

I would like either the Conservatives to win or NPD (Minority).
Damn, 18... they should allow 16 year olds to vote -.-

Then you'd only have to wait 4 more years, eh? Wink

Polls should be closed by then, after which we get to see the early results. Canadian law forbids posting results before the last poll closes so as not to influence people's votes.

The polls opened early this morning, definitely not at 8:00 PM.
