(from slashdot : http://developers.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/01/19/0026203&from=rss)

Rent a Coder users appear to be outsourcing their way through school, at low costs--probably less than $100 per assignment. Evil or Very Mad

Great resource for actual outsourcing - but it's clearly being used unscrupulously).

The site charges a 15% commission.
Some of the jobs are in the thousands of dollars if you're on the coding side.

On the other side, it can cost as little as about $5 for a small job.

I'd do it for $15. My time is worth at least $15 an hour (it's probably more then that now... we'll see during the summer), and I charge by the hour.

Oh, and no guaruntees Wink
