So this was my gr10 ISU made in about an hour, my class isn't exactly elite so the teacher wasn't expecting much Very Happy I tried to make it as much like the original as possible (except the winning screens) let me know what you think of it. Next project I'm thinking raycasting, so any ideas for that would be great to throw at me too

It's pretty good. I like how you made the directions change depending on how you hit it. Most people just take the x or y value and multiply it by -1.

BTW, isn't jumping from Pong to raycasting kinda huge?

Not to sound cocky, but this game didn't even begin to test my abilities, I understand the basics of raycasting, I just don't know how to make it efficient enough to run smoothly in Turing Sad

Haha. I didn't want you to start raycasting, get frustrated, and quit programming. jk.

lol Razz no im definitely sticking with programming. I think an answer might lie in variable recycling, i'll look into it

I hope not to go too much off topic here, but you said you wanted to do raycasting? This tutorial helped me out a lot: http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/raycast/index.html

No problem, it goes into all the math, logic, and things you need to know - very useful.
Good luck with your Raycasting.

Sorry to anybody who felt I was going off topic, continue to talk about the post.
