I was wondering that after turing, like wtd said, ruby might be a better idea. But just to know that how widely is ruby used in schools/university/other?

I'm on my 2nd work-term, programming web applications in Ruby.

University of Waterloo is looking into a wider implemintation of Ruby for its (for now) web projects. Dan has also been employed by University of Waterloo assosiated company, as a Ruby programmer.
Latest from compsci.ca/blog: Tony's programming blog. DWITE - a programming contest.
