Does anyone know what the Royal Conservatory of Music's grade levels are for Beethoven's Fur Elise and Chopin's Etude in c, Op. 10, No. 12 "Revolutionary" are ?

Fur Elise is grade 7...i'll have to check the chopin when i get a chance

yup elise is gr 7 now.....chopin i think is 10...im doing 9...and its not there..and i just finished 8 and nothere either....

Revolutionary is pretty easy, it's just fast as hell. Perhaps my favourite piece right now though.

haha...if u want fast try..."Prelude in C# Minor" -Sergei Rachmaninov


the beggining is easy but then it gets ub3r fast...at the end u get a double grand staff. and sforzandissisimo "sffffz"crazy song tough...or try flight of the bumble bee that 240tempo i beleive

Fur Elise was grade 6 when I used it.

Try Gigue (in partia in Bb) for fast. It was Gr 9 when I used it for my gr 8 - but they were talking about boosting it up to grade 10. Lots of two hands crossing & stuff; in the player's favour, it's not that long.

Most of the Chopin pieces are at least 9th grade level, I believe. Smile

yes they are.....i have cakewalk... i thnink thats around lvl 8 its not in anyof the books ive seen..*well i did skip 7,5* Twisted Evil ...whats every1 theory lvl...im currently doing gr2 theory so i can get my credit Razz
