What do you prefer doing?
Yes, I realize that these are, at points, two very intertwined disciplines, and that you probably end up doing a lot of both. Think of it like this: if you were to write a contest tomorrow, would you prefer it to be a computer science contest, or a mathematics contest? |

Math, because I do better in math contests than I do in compsci contests. |

wow like i said before, please do at least a bit of research before you say anything because everytime u talk, u prove to be an idiot, turing is compiled for windows based operating systems.. thus the name winoot. the Ti series use their own simple low level programming language/asm, so it would not be possible to "install" turing on them |

I'm pretty sure he was talking about making a graphinc calculator kind of program with Turing. Which isn't a terriblly innovative idea either.
As for the topic at hand, I voted for computer science (shock). But I'd be really surprised if most of the massey people don't vote math. |

I voted compsci, I seem to have more luck with tests on that .
Besides, I've been using programming since before I could multply. |

CS!!!
Hmm... Haven't done the Euclid yet, but I thought CCC was cake compared to those M/C Waterloo math contests.
(though cake is somewhat hard nonetheless, if you fry it ) |

I voted Math becaues when you talk about a contest I am more confident in my math abilities then my compsci (I have been doing math a hell of a lot longer than compsci)
However I agree that compsci is more fun. |

Definately CS ... its much more interesting ... to me anyway, Math is too difficult to remember (especially if you dont study) |
