I'm getting better. ^_^
today I learned how to operate movieclips with more effective actionscript. having clips refer to themselves makes for a much easier way to direct them
the majority of this file is the picture - its a dual-monitor 2048x768 pic.

can i have some more upload space? its 1.2 meg.

Alright.
I've swapped the picture for one of a different size and feel. instead of a 2048x768 space picture, we now have a 5500x400 martian (real) shot.
Variations of this effect have been around for a while, but i've finally gotten it figured out.
suggestions as to go from here are welcome.

The reason I chose such a large picture is that i HATE those repeated pictures. it looks cheesy and very poor.
That is a long picture. Its real. It isn't repeated at any point.
Thats why I chose it.
