Hey all,

I am looking at courses for my program (compsci at mcmaster) and I am trying to figure out what to take in addition to my regular courses. I have 15 electives (5 courses) 1st year, with 6 electives each year after that. I have been interested in artificial intelligence, and linguistics as it relates to computer science. I don't think I could do a minor in something like neuroscience, because I do poorly in biology, but looking at the course options I think I could do a minor in linguistics, I just have to take 6 credits each year to get it.

My question is has anyone here done any linguistics course, and is it an interesting minor to pursue? Also is it possible to get multiple minors/take additional courses above the regular courses because I might try to get a mathematics minor as well (unless I can't because of the computer science minor)

Thanks
