Question about Grade 12 courses

I have a question and its been bugging me for a while. I know that the universities that you apply to will use your six top courses to come up with your average, but what I want to know is what if one of the prerequisite courses for your program is not one of your top 6 courses? What do they do?

Courses I took for Grade 12

English
Religion
Advanced Functions
Calculus and Vectors
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Computer Science

They will include all program prerequisites into your top six, which means that some of your better courses will get pushed out if they aren't required. Make sure you do well in your program's prerequisites.
