You can easily pay for successive terms, and if you get decent jobs you can easily pay off your debt from first term. An average first term is something like $10k for 4 months of work, versus around $5k for tuition for the following term. Add in $2k per 4 months if you're staying in residence, plus $1k per year in textbooks (you won't spend that much, but in case you do...).

I will be graduating entirely debt-free (I'm actually debt-free right now), though I had some substantial help from several scholarships.
