you separate the sentance into individual words first using something as index() to locate the spaces

Have you read the string manipulation tutorial? I specifically showed how to search for a space (without using index).

Using index, searching for a space becomes as easy as:

code:

space_character := index (input_string, " ")

After you figure out what a word is, use a little string manipulation to bring the last letter to the front and go on to find the next word.

Good question. I suppose Tony wanted a sort of public execution. Like the gold old fashioned hangings, where the whole town comes out to cheer. Those were the days... Edit: Man, I love seeing these duck avatars in consecutive posts. It really shows how well we're taking compsci.ca over. If only we could get tony to use a duck avatar, we'd have four in a row.

It wasn't! wtd is a shortening of my usual Welcome to Darwin, which is the welcome you get when you open Terminal.app in Mac OS X. Some chose to see is as "what the duck".

Hah, blocking images from iloveduckies.com does wonders at improving the look of the forums...pity it doesn't work for all of them. edit: Is it possible to set firefox to block any image with the word duck in it? I'm not sure if wildcards work in the blocked sites list....

I just blocked all external images... it works perfectly But you'll have to tell me when the duck craze passes...

Hmm, Opera seems to load that image all wrong. It's trying to apply a transparency layer to it or something.

You can syndicate this boards posts using the file backend.php or view the topic map using sitemap.php.
