Click Here! It seems like a pretty neat idea, and will come in really handy for those of us who don't have the adequate rights in order to install it. Combined with FireFoxIE, I think we have a winner. Wink

FirefoxIE is to make sure a teacher that knows you're not supposed to have Firefox walks by and sees a little orange fox on the top-left-hand corner of your screen. Razz

I took a screenshot so that anyone can see what it looks like. I just installed the one tool they offered in order to add "Microsoft Internet Explorer" instead of "Mozilla Firefox".

I also extracted the IE images from the iexplorer.exe and integrated them to firefox (using ResHacker). So firefox.exe has the internet explorer logo, and all the icons in the windows that were firefox are replaced with their IE equivalent.

The only thing that gives it away now is the little "Adblock" logo on the bottom of the screen. Razz

nice! Smile
Now my only problem will be trying to resist opening 20 tabs Neutral.

There's probably a way to take away that 'adblock' thing too.

For the History, Cookies, and Stuff, where does PortableFireFox store it? On the USB key or on the Local Machine?

I'm pretty sure it's tweaked to store all that stuff in its own folder. Confused

what's so confusing, you put firefox on a thumbdrive so you don't have to use IE.

If your confused about what firefox is http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

As for putting firefox on a thumbdrive, its a good idea, but I don't have a thumb drive, so I used the copy my friend had on his thumbdrive and put it in my student folder on the schools server.
