Begging of a space invader game. You will have money to buy upgrades and stuff for your ship. Note - This is just a ship I found on compsci and is just an example of the ship im going to use. I will make my own. I hold no claim to this one.

Click to fire.

EDIT - I made this when I was on my crap computer becuase I didn't have access to my main game files (Zombie Mass'Acres). Anytime im on my crap comp ill work on this.

Neat, I wanted to try it myself so i programmed my own version (i was bored), i added some astroids which can be shot, but there is no ship-astroid collision, it was all just for fun.

If he made it two player, one would have a mouse and the other would have keyboard controls : (

Mouse is far more superior to keyboard.

Looks very good though Razz

Well if it were two player i would use keyboard for both players. It only makes sense.

Well if your talking to me (cuz i still dont know) then it took me like ahhh about 30 or so minutes. I kept adding more things like the stars.. then made them move... then added the astroids.. and added collision. And thats that.

i really like how the ship does not move with the cursor, but rather travels at its own speed and tracks the cursor.. VERY NICE! tahts a REALLY smart way of doing it, other ppl taht use the mouse speed is bad, since it really affects the playability and makes it too easy.. . yours it a good base to build one

Im the creater of the forum.

Which every program you are refering to say "First or Seconds" k it gets confusing >.<

At first its x and y co-ords at the Mouse.Where but that was lame and would make it really easy, so I decided to make its movement "If" statments. Works very well Razz

I probably won't be making anything out of mine for a long while. I may though, because im working on my Zombie game which is my personal project. This was just something I made in like 5 mins cause I was bored.

we programmers best work when BORED, its been proven many many times.. i think its cause we are not being FORCED to do the programming, so were not just trying to get it done, instead we are trying to have fun and do something REALLY cool.. . . congrats and join the club

Thanks! Very Happy

My project, the zombie game is very slow because most of the stuff im doing takes me bugging the crap out of Cervantes for help Razz

Im also rewriting a lot of code with Rem statements because I havnt done ANY. So yah, 600 lines of fun. Not that much but its good code. Serves me well.
