But i was wondering i was thinking of making some 3d models in turing, but i cant really think of how that would be done. Ie drawing the z axis.. anyone have an example engine that they allow people to see.. jsut to get me started.. thanks |

hey. sorry that its uncommented, but you can have the source. -Z it has all the basics you'd expect. distance shading, zoom(pgup, pgdn), displacement (arrow keys) and the fake 3d effect. |

nothing happens when i run your engine... it says the file is loaded but then nothing shows up but a black screen. and also the frame rate is very low, usually around 3 fps for a 400 polygon model. even though the fps is low nothing shows up anyways. |

who? mine is slow. I'm trying to rewrite it in java, but i'm still trying to get a hand of the graphics. for most renderers you'll need some .raw files. still got those? -Z --edit-- oh! click on the screen anywhere to continue after that. It just hasn't drawn anything. -Z |

Hmm, a basic 3d world sounds like fun, I'm now tempted to make one... Somthing simple anyway, like Wolfenstine. |
