My new years resolution is 1280 x 1024. lol. Hopefully someone will get that. I found it funny.

Anyways, Happy new year.

Did aoi have that newyears party? I went to the one my girlfriend's parents hosted, bunch of ppl. Stayed up until 3:30 playing DDR and CS, mixed with peach champaign, eggnog with rum and some of that other wine thing Rolling Eyes I couldn't ddr at the end so I went CS. Anyway, it was a pretty good way to go into newyear. Does anyone else's fingers itch in the first half hour of consumption of alchohol?

The best linux is Linux from Scratch. It gives you the most control over what you want to do, and the install process is quite simple.

While I agree that LFS is interesting and educational, if the guy has never used UNIX at all before, perhaps a normal distribution is a better idea before you try to start making your own.
