Squamm is a program used to create mind maps for presentations or projects. It can be downloaded form the following website www.squamm.com. The commands are fairly straight forwards, all the commands necessary are available via the menus at the top of the screen.
For these commands you just need to click where you want the node to be placed or edited after selecting the command.
Add Node: Creates a new node with text.
Edit Node: Modifies an existing node.
Delete Node: Removes a node.
Move Node: Click and drag a node to it's desired location.
For these commands you need to select the two nodes to link/unlink.
Add Link: Creates a link between two nodes, the link will take the colour of the border of the first node clicked.
Delete Link: Removes a previously created node.
Background: Allows for the changing of the colour of the background or using an image as a background
Show/Hide Guides: will make tany alignment guides visible/invisible.
Alignment Guides: These are created by clicking on the think line either on the left edge of the window or below the main menu.
This program was entirely programmed from scratch -all 3000+ lines of it-, which explains why some of the interfaces do not look normal such as the save window.
The program is also constantly being improved so if you fell a feature should be added, just send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and i will try to include it in the next release.

Here are some images taken within the program.
Also if you are going to vote negatively then i would appreciate it if you would send me an email or pm with suggestions for improvements.
Note that some of the colours are a little off here as photobucket resized the images.
Add Node Window
also the program's data files have their own icon
EDIT: I have released a new version of the program with some bug fixes.
