well, i'm done the thing, took me bout an hour. make sure u have a flash pluggin to see this. but there's a problem:

probably cuz they have music, music files take up quite a bit of room, especially modern songs in mp3 format. so bout the attaching thing, wut should i do?

the allowed filetype might not be supported. Just zip it up and upload that.

I'd love it if you'd make some cool flash banner, standart size (the 400something by 70something). We would use it up there instead of just CompSci.ca title 8)

I think you should put actual background colours in them, rather than transparent ones... in opera the transparent backgrounds only show up as black

heh, I think it could be a bit wider. More like 500x75 or whatnot... what looks good up there.

A border around it would also be nice Smile

As for transparencies in opera... well its not my fault you chouse to use a crappy (since doesn't support features) browser. I mean come on, this is not a commercial website, I'm not gonna write 5 style templates to support each browser.

i'm gonna leave the background white....black dusn't look to good for all banners...and i'll add the border soon. keep in mind the one i made wuz just a template...i knew i wuz gonna get suggestions for it

I meant that the background in IE shows up as transparent (ie takes on the background colour of the table cell it's in)... but in opera the background shows up as black

Anyway...who uses Opera now days...well who ever used Opera? All i use(d) it for was for voting fo my clan site(s) on gamesite200.com i think...do that anymore...im not in a clan Smile ( hehe since you can only vote once...i vote from all the browsers i have so i get my vote up Smile )

php is really not that important/not a very big part of the site.
if u really wan i can re-add php and flash, but for now i think it is fine
also, i have now just changed flash to html
and they are looped....
