I've applied to four universities: 1) Waterloo 2) UofT 3) McMaster 4) Ryerson Applied all in Computer Science programs. So far... - admitted to Ryerson at late Jan. - admitted to Waterloo at early Feb. - admitted to McMaster at mid Feb. Still waiting on UofT's response. From the looks of it.. I think they've just looked at my grade 11 marks when they made those early admissions to me (though I did not do as great that year than this year). |

Well I applied to : - uWaterloo: -Mathematical Physics (BSc.) -Mathematical Physics (BMath) -CS (BCS... duh!) I was accepted into all three programs by the middle of January. Last year my best six averaged out to about 92, and this year my first semesters average (only considering 4U classes) was 94.6... i accepted the first one (BSc), but depending on how things go on euclid i might switch to the BMath one 
Anyways good luck getting into waterloo, or the others if you prefer lol |

last year my average (8 courses) was about 87 i think.. This year, my top 6 is 94.3. Planning to go into waterloo, but I'm just waiting a week or two for uoft's responce before i accept. Just hoping I do well on the euclid. Thanks and good luck to you as well! |

Got into Computer Science and Bioinformatics, both at University of Waterloo. Gr.11 average was 90 Gr.12 first sem was 89 If anyone's curious, English DOES seem to be rather important. With my rather poor performance both years, (78 in Gr.11 and 82 in Gr.12) I got accepted a full month later than a friend with the exact same average for first semester and a lower average for Gr.11. |

Accepted to Computer Engineering, March 15th Functions 95 Calculus 91 (Hasn't been sent to universities I think) Physics 90 Chemistry 89 English 86 Computer Science 97 Average 91.3 I'm still rather surprised that I haven't heard from Computer Science yet! |

Accepted to Software Eng two days ago Got accepted Compsci early Feb. 11 Avg was 89.4 Functions 95 Physics 97 Chem 88 that was my first semester (only 3 courses) avg of 93 i think. DON'T WORRY if you don't get in the first wave ur ought to get in the 2nd wave. im assuming first wave is just ppl over 90 avg. |

Got into Waterloo compsci(Math-coop) and software eng a week ago by email. PPL who considering Soft Eng, lookup PDENG program at waterloo. If your english bsing skills are not good, u better watch out. My average was 87. I took: Data Management 86 Function 91 Guitar 90 Physics 87 Hours: 41 CCC certificate COMC certificate Dota player Now Taking: English (low 80s expected) Calc (90s) Compsci (hopefully 100++) Chem (90s) I'm from A.Y.J. S.S. Wow you ppl got good grades, I feel nub. |

I think this is a nice message thread for finding very up-to-date news on when Universities are sending admission offers, and what marks are getting people in. However, it seems to me that there isn't any value in letting others know that you got in with a 90+ average. That is assuming that this topic is more about being informative, and less about pack-patting. I think the value is in finding out what grades which are close to a University's cut-off are getting people in. So don't be shy those of you being accepted with grades closer to the cut-off's - that's the kind of thing that is useful here. |

I got accepted into -Mcmaster for Soft Eng. and CS (both co-op) -UofT for Comp Eng. (not sure if it's co-op) im still waiting for Waterloo's offer in CS or SE i also applied to CS for UofT but tht doesnt really matter since I already have McMaster. My Avg was 83ish..(if tht's a word  )

I was accepted to Computer Science (Coop) and Computational Mathematics back in Febuary. At that time my semester 1 marks werent in, so for grade 12 they only had my 92 in advanced functions to go on. |

My calculus teacher told me that the universities actually don't receive your marks until May 4 because some marks were incorrect (one of mine was) and we need time to fix it before it's submitted. |
